Default Simpsons Fans????

Any simpsons fans here? It's my favorite show of all time! What about you? Any favortie episodes, characters, quotes?
My favortie character is Homer! He's so dumb!
I can't think of my favorite quote off the top of my head but heres one..
Homer: Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

of course! watch it every day, super favorite. I had simpsons quotes in my sig. for quite awhile. "Bacon up that sausage, boy"
One of my very favorite episodes is the one where it's 3 different classic stories out of a book they're reading. Homer is Ulysses ("Hey, Grease IS the word!") Lisa is Joan of Arc, and Bart is Hamlet. I also like the one where they show the montage of a bunch if Homer's songs (Maaaaaax Poower...it's the name you'd love to tooouuuch...but you musn't TOOOOUUUUCCHHH...) OMigod, and the one where Homer gets prescription marijuana when his eyes get pecked out by his pet crows (Hume Crownyn, Cameron Crow, Gregory Peck, etc ) "objects may appear more edible than they are" is on the prescription bottle! Those are just a few that come to mind, i like tons...

I hardly watch it, but the show touches on so much of what I teach (for real) that students tell me every week that they suddenly understand references on the show for the first time. Quite a selling point.

A fan!

I love the episode when Marge writes a book. Ned Flanders, the macho hero? Bwahhahahaha!

My favorite moment:
She types one sentence and then says "Brownie break!"

LOVE this show!

My favorite episode is when Homer reads the book of classics to Bart and Lisa, with the Oddyssey and everything in it. Absolutely funny...

Great show, I've watched it from the start. Fave quotes (all Ralphie Wiggum)

"Me fail English? That's un-possible!"

"Mrs. Crabapple? I ate all my paste!"

"I found a moonrock - in my nose."

"You choo-choo-choose me?"

Oh, wait a couple from Homer:

"For sale! Tram-opp-a-line! Tram-opp-a-line!" One of the best episodes ever, all those kids injured on the trampoline laying around like casualties of war - priceless!

Singing: "I am so smart, I am so smart, S-M-R-T, I mean S-M-A-R-T!"

I'm a huge Simpsons fan, and I love that Matt Groening is a FM/Stevie fan!

One of my favorite Ralph lines "I sleep in a drawer!"

I love the crank calls to Moe's - "Amanda Hugnkiss? I need Amanda Hugnkiss!"

My new email sound at work is "Woo-hoo!" It used to be "Mmmmm....64 slices of American cheese...aaaaaahhhh." I have a Maggie figurine on top of my computer.

Anyone see the cast on Inside the Actor's Studio? Anyone notice that they never showed Julie Kavner on camera when she was doing Marge?

I can't remember if that was cheered or jeered by TV Guide.

The Simpsons is my absolute favorite show of all time! My favorite episodes are probably Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(ANNOYED GRUNT)cious and The President Wore Pearls.

Favorite Quotes:
(From A Streetcar Named Marge)
Ms. Sinclair: Marge, do you know what a baby is saying when she reaches for a bottle?
Marge: Baba?
Ms. Sinclair: No! She's saying "I am a leach!"

(From Flaming Moe's?)
Marge: Well Homer maybe you can take some consolation in the fact that something you created is making people happy.
Homer: Oh, look at me - I'm making people happy! I'm the magical man, from happy land, in a gum drop house on lollypop lane! [door slam - Homer comes back] Oh by the way I was being sarcastic.
Marge: Well Duh!

I can't remember what these ones are from...
Homer: And I gave that man directions, even though I didn't know the way, cuz that's the kind of guy I am.

Bart: Look at the sunset!
Lisa: That's not a sunset, it's a bird on fire!
*I might have screwed that one up*

Homer: [not remembering that it's Valentines Day] Is it bacon day?

Gotta love the FM references too! When Bart loses it from too much Focusin, he steals a tank and as he's smashing things, he's singing Don't Stop. They should get them to do a guest spot on the show! How funny would that be.
