Default The Peacemaker

I just saw this movie the other day, and it got me thinking. I know it was just a movie, but I also know the scenario of nuclear weapons from that part of the world falling into the wrong hands as been discussed. It seems to me that maybe more money and attention should be paid to that than Iraq. I'm not going on a pro or anti-war rant here, it just seems logical to me that this should be paid the highest priority. I mean, if one of thesde things actually falls into Osama Bin-Laden's or any other terrorists hands and they somehow get it over here, you can kiss a major us city goodbye. Just curious to see what others think?

This is a real threat. There are some such weapons that are "missing" from Russia I believe. I hope it never happens but it is possible. I just saw an official discussing it on TV. He said make sure you have enough food and water to wait a couple of weeks for the fallout to subside. Tape your windows with plastic and go into an interior room in the house with no windows/doors. I swear, I used to think guys like that were just paranoid but now I think I should get my survival kit together.

Yeah, I remember how everyone laughed a couple years ago when the whole duct tape thing was in the news.

Great movie! Not a big fan of Nicole's hair in that movie though.

is the Emmy Awards being hit with a nuke...Hell, I pray that any/every award show should end in blood & death, Because watching these shows in the past caused hemmoraging & killed my brain cells.

Seriously, I have been saying what happened in New Orleans will seem like a toe stumping once a nuke in brought in such a city as Los Angeles or Dallas and is discharged...Do I think it will happen? Sure, The terrorists will send a message that 9-11 was nuthing and they will up the ante to prove their hatred not for 'certain' Americans but ALL Americans!!!

Neither the Republicans nor Democrats will or can keep this from occurring.

Oh don't get me wrong, I LOVE N-I-C-O-L-E. She is probably my favorite actress out there right now, but I just wasn't "feeling" the hair.

I saw nothing wrong with her hair, it was the movie that I wasn't feeling. What an execrable piece of Hollywood trash.

Exactly. I firmly believe the U.S should spare no expense when it comes to keeping the pressure up on these a-holes. We can argue about the method President Bush or anyone else might use, but all they care about is the destruction of America, so that tells me it's kill or be killed. I'm not a war mongerer, but I'm realistic at the same time.

It was typical "hollywood" you are correct, but I do have to admit that it kept me on the edge of my seat!

To me, her hair was lacking volume and any sort of "style".

It bored me. There was nothing original about it, it was one giant cliche wrapped in new packaging. When Nicole Kidman can't even give a movie some redeeming value, you're in trouble. George Clooney plays every role the same way to me, so anything with him is a chore to watch.
