Pettypettypetty. He taught me that American girls don't have to live like refugees, and not to back down. Eff Zeppelin, and they're "big legged woman aint got no soul" pronouncement.

But he says "I don't know but I been told, a big legged woman aint got no soul." It's not Led Zeppelin, it's their stupid friends .

I picked Zep. I love TP, but there's just no contest.

You are so committed! Do you need to be committed now? Oops, that was bad.

That hardly matters, he said it out loud in a song. Zep is usually to hard for me anyway.

I think Zep's songs were better but in terms of who's my favorite it's Tom. Free Falling practically got me thru the summer of '89 (aw yeah)!

Led Zeppelin. The only band that I own completely on vinyl and CD. They deserve to win this, not only because they are still on the faves list of almost every musician and musiclover on this planet. Also because they connect to alot of different musicstyles, and have put out at LEAST 5 classic albums.

i was tempted to vote for LZ based solely on the fabulosity of Kashmir.

then i realized that Tom has such an exquisite catalog... and he was in the Wilburys... and he is one half of the Insider... and so i voted for him.

and i didn't follow all of the rounds, but i'd like to back track and see how it came down to these three. or more specifically how joni ended up in the final three. eh, good job S on the whole thing!

Me too... mainly I'm wondering how The Beatles didn't end up being in the top 3. They're number 1 in every poll ever conducted (not that they shouldn't be.) Or was it just a given that the Beatles are supreme so they were left out to give other bands a fighting chance? I read most of the rounds but I don't remember seeing them.

This has been cool, Sharon. Thanks for doing it

Went for Zep. Had to. When the levee breaks? One of the best songs ever recorded.
