Default Friend in dire straits.

Hi all, I like to share this with all of you,I have a friend who is handicapped with hearing impairment who is going through hard times in this recession,He lost his job 2 years ago at a aerospace company. His unemployment comp.ran out two months ago after 99 week run.by mid august he will exhaust his bank account ,and sept first may vacate his apartment .He worked his butt off to find work, but getting nowhere due to his hearing impairment plus his age of 60 yrs old.I talk to my boss two months ago to see if he will hire my buddy for the upcoming busy season which starts in august,so far my friend came down to fill an app out and leave off an resume last month.
in the next couple of weeks my boss will start the screening of apps to see what he likes, then he will pick 2 applicants to fill the 2 job openings. Will I hope he will pick my friend,so my fingers are crossed .I hope he will get picked. He neads this job.We will see.

I have empathy for anyone experiencing a hardship. But it seems you are using this site to create sympathy in an attempt to solicit contributions (i.e money).

Please do you self a favor: learn how to properly communicate. Commas are not periods. Grasp the concept of lower and upper case letters. Write complete sentences and check your spelling, tenses, grammar and spacing.

I'm deeply offended by both issues.

PenguinHead,
That seems a bit harsh. Perhaps you were joking?

MacFan,
I hope your friend gets the job.

I certainly hope so.

Macfan, best of luck to your friend. Things are really tough for so many people at the moment. Do let us know how things turn out.

What kind of grammar cop are you? In the message you replied to "your" should be, "you're"! Sorry, couldn't resist. Please turn in your badge.

(P.S. You spelled grammar wrong).

Macfan, grammar and spelling aside, good luck to your friend. Times are tough for many. If nothing else, hopefully he can take comfort in the knowledge that he is not alone.

Fail grammar police.

Macfan, I feel for your friend. A family member of mine has been out of work for a year because of a still undiagnosed illness which is severely affecting her and my immediate family.

Please send my love to your friend and I hope things start looking up. No one deserves that kind of thing

Don't worry about grammer. I already mangle the English language enough on my own.

As for your friend, to quote Songbird, I wish him all the luck in the world.

Ha, you caught me with "your" but I know I put an "e" in grammar - that was the whole point of my post.

This is rare but I find his poor grammar quite endearing...
