Spring 2012 Fashion Collection Showcase
In Honor of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, NYC 2011
Hosted by designer: Miriam Harris & Naomi Defensor of MTV’s hit series “Real World”

For Immediate Release – What better way to spend the night before New York Fashion Week festivities begin, than to celebrate by viewing an incredible up & coming collection called: FumiDesigns. This spectacular event will take place on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 from 8 PM to 10 PM at the sexiest boutique hotel in NYC: Grace Hotel.

The night will begin with specialty cocktails as well as the latest hits by Celebrity DJ Yoshi, while they meet & greet with “who’s who” in NYC’s fashion scene. A fashion showcase will be assembled by FumiDesigns & Dots Angelz – the spring, 2012 collection will be shown for the first time – with the hottest models in New York sponsored by Untapped Beauty. Hair will be provided by the Janet Waddell Salon & make-up by StylEast.
Celebrities invited to attend include: Bravo’s hit series “Real Housewives of New York”, MTV’s “Jersey Shore” cast members, Discovery Channel’s hit series “The Fabulous Beekman Brothers”, & MTV’s “The City” cast members, amongst others!

Nice work. You ever gonna branch out into some nice Stevie embellished tops and handkerchief skirts

Our choices for things as these are few, and the ones out there aren't that reputable as we all know. It would just be nice to be able to find these things instead of having to look through all the needles in the haystack boutiques.

Project Runway does seem so rushed. In the real world would anyone want something conjured up in just a few hours rush time? Quality takes time.

Ha! I want to do some Stevie inspired looks but I don't want to consciously sketch them. I want them to just come to me. If I do it consciously it'll be something that's she's worn before ya know. When I do make it, you'll definitely see! I want to look at my design and say "oh Stevie would definitely have worn that!"

I love the show but I can't honestly say I would be comfortable doing it. I've never had the time to only sew. I work fulltime too. I wish I had that luxury! Hopefully soon I will....
