That was great. And, it's true, Rumours is completely irresistable.

The kids have great taste in music!

I used to have hermit crabs for pets, too. I used to get one every year we went to the beach. It's true that you have to take them everywhere with you.....I used to let mine out and have it grab onto the palms of my hands. My mom usually freaked and took Dramamine regulary to knock herself out. Aw...the good old days of family roadtrips. We never did listen to FM. It was more Kenny G and Amy Grant.

Kenny G and Amy Grant???? Yoipes! we didn't have road trips when i was little
cept to my grandma's. But my dad usually had a car. When i was really little, I was all about my dad's Steve Miller 8 track. Then when i was 10 or so, my dad found an old 8 track player to put in his car He found a few tapes, which were mainly - bob seger, Simon and garf, and Dr. Hook and the Medicine show

My siblings and I always associate certain songs and albums with road trips we went on as a family. To this day, anytime we hear Ace of Base "The Sign," we're like "OMG DISNEY WORLD TRIP!(@)*!"

We're a strange family.

Holy crap! Was it 1994 by chance? I associate Ace of Base with MY Disneyworld trip post-nursing school with my girlfriends.

We didn't do many road trips as kids, but I do remember riding around in my parent's beige 1979 Lincoln Mark V listening to some "Country Hits" 8-Track all the time. The song
"M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I" will be ingrained in my head forver.

When we took a family trip to Myrtle Beach, we had the 8 track player in our Van. I was 7 years old. And my parents didn't switch the 8 track for about 4 hours and it played over and over again. (no pun intended)

My brothers and I were addicted to it like it was heroin. We would beg they put Rumours in. Finally they bought the White album on 8 track too! I grew up thinking that the Bare Trees was made by a different band than Rumours then I realized Christine was on both albums. Took a few years.... 8 tracks didn't have much info....
