Because, this was actually owned by Lindsey! I mean, how much would you pay for the Les Paul Greeny gave to Gary Moore?

I'd pay market value, not some inflated value because of its previous owner.

Anyway, Peter didn't GIVE his Les Paul to Gary Moore, he basically SOLD it to him.

Default Guitars!

Well I think you'd have to look at it from different angles. I'm a musician, so if I shelled out the cash for that guitar, I'd be tempted to play it even though Lindsey owned it. Personally I dont think it would be worth that amount unless Lindsey himself "sold" it to me.

From another view, if you were simply a collector who wasnt a musician, it would make sense to pay that amount.

Besides, I think I'd rather have a refurbished, or near mint original Rick Turner from the early 1980s. Those particular instruments are probably more "valuable" than the one played by Lindsey just because of the age and rarity. Then again, I think I WOULD pay a large amount for one of Lindsey's vintage models.
