Lindseys long coat

I am completely confused now... Was Lindsey going around wearing a Clint Eastwood-alike Civil War coat? (Was Clint Eastwood weaing a Civil War coat? I only remember the poncho)

Only contribution I can think of making to this interesting, but Lindsey-In-Sexy-Long-Coat-Picture lacking thread would be to mention that gorgeous long coat he wears in the Slow Dancing video... *drooooool...* (Which, I've just found out, was nominated for "Best Special Effects in a Video", "Best Editing in a Video" and "Most Experimental Video", all three along with Go Insane, which was also nominated for "Best Cinematography in a Video", in the 1985 MTV Video Music Awards. So there you go. And why are results from over 20 years ago up on MTV's site...?)

No, Lindsey wasnt wearing a civil war coat, my post went from: I like that look, it reminds me of Clint Eastwoods coat, to finding pictures of what he wore, and what I actually like. In The Good The Bad, The Ugly, Clint Eastwood wore (for a short time) a civil war era long coat. in one scene, he comforts a dying soldier by giving him a last cigarette and covering him with his long coat and taking the poncho instead. The weird thing is, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly was supposed to be the last of the trilogy, but he wore that poncho in the first two movies.........go figure........

A great western that features long trench coats (and at least three sets of brothers) was The Long Riders, from 1980. Here's a pic

I _see_.... All becomes clear to me now! Sorry about that!

And that is an exceptionally good picture of Lindsey in a long coat... Even with the fact he looks like he only has one leg in it. Just shows he can pull off anything!

The Grammies? I believe I saw that at the time (or was it the Brits?). Cant remember any coat particularly, but it was 7 or 8 years ago
