PETER GREEN: MAN OF THE WORLD

Before Fleetwood Mac evolved into a slick West Coast supergroup, it helped to spearhead the British 1960s r'n'b boom under the band's founder, Peter Green. Previously Eric Clapton's replacement in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Green channelled his charisma and creativity into such hits as "Albatross", "Man of the World" and "Oh Well". But a bad acid trip in 1970 heralded 20 years of drug-related
health problems and tabloid reports of being mad, bad and dead before a return to the live music scene in the 1990s. Green's brothers, ex-girlfriend (the subject of "Black Magic Woman") and original Mac members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Jeremy Spencer are among those fleshing out the influential guitarist's own hazy recollections.

Really worth watching, some great interviews, stories I had never heard before and classic performances. Fascinating stuff.
