Default Lose My/Your Heart

So, can anyone tell me why Bob Welch put both of these songs on French Kiss? I guess I like Lose Your Heart better, since it has a nice intro and Christine is on it. But why did he put such similar songs on the album? This also isn't to mention that 45 second song! Not putting down the album, just wondering.

I never really understood that either but I do like the songs!

Perhaps he wanted it as a little reprise. It sort of reminds me of Paul McCartney's great Band on the Run album. The song Jet appears on side one, then an alternate (snippet) version appears within another song on side two. Call it artistic license.

Actually, there are THREE versions (oops, I guess I should've read your ENTIRE post before replying).

I think Bob explains it himself during one (or both) of his Penguin Q&A's. Read through, I recall somebody asking him about it.

And, actually, on Band On The Run, Paul was just using a trick he'd already used on both Abbey Road (side 2) and also earlier on Sgt Pepper.
