Hi Nancy,

I really had no grounds as the seat was yanked before the sale was completed. You can even make it all the way to the confirm stage and still loose tickets for a lot of reasons including system error(s.) On top of that, I use Visa and they always verify TM transactions so it could also have happened at the point which would have been even more heartbreaking.

It was a learning experience. It taught me that when two different methods of selecting tickets exist at the start of any sale (e.g., Interactive Seating Chart and the conventional TM Choose The Seat) it seems reasonable to assume that two different customers can "select" the same seat and to the fastest goes the spoils. Scalpers use multiple high speed computers and even pay people to stand in line at box offices. The average fan has only past experience, other fans help (e.g. sharing passwords), and Lady-Luck to even the playing field. This time Lady Luck shone on me. "Some days are diamonds some days are dust or dirt or what ever" JonBon wrote for Stevie back in the day.

And, like you said in the end it all worked out. Now one last show-McCallum and I can rest and enjoy the rest of my ten week summer vacation.

David

Thanks Man! Much Appreciated. Hope you do as well at all your shows.

Man, I've tried everything under the sun for the Napa show and cannot figure it out. Guess I'll have to wait until the internet sale next Wednesday, but that will probably have a stupid PW too. ARG!

I'll keep plugging in random words. Maybe I'll hit it. LOL

Where are you supposed to find these stupid passwords anyway? It says Headliner Member Pre-Sale. Member of WHAT?

OH, I figured it out. Members of Uptown Theater get first dibs. You have to pay $500 for a year to get the membership for the headliner. I'll wait for the internet sale next week.

Ticketmaster Directions via public transportation:

Public Transportation
VIA PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

1-From Center City Philadelphia use SEPTA R2 or R5 commuter line to the Glenside Train Station (approximately 20 minutes).

Three blocks north on Easton Rd.
Right on Keswick Ave. - Theatre is on the left.

2-From the Broad & Olney subway station, use the Rt. 22 SEPTA bus, which stops at the corner of Easton Rd. & Keswick Ave.

I knew it was less of a big deal than google maps was telling me!

Lesson learned.
I have 2 extra tix. They are not together, however. Both are at the front tables but not front row. PM me for seat locations.

That's what I think too.

Last time out scalpers got all the primo seats here in L.A. at Royce Hall and the Grove and this time-nada. One reason is the Grove sent the pre-sale password out on time (last time it was sent out two hours after the pre-sale started) and Royce Hall did not put all their good seats up for grabs during the pre-sales.

In any event, I was soo happy to see that scalpers have nothing in the front row at Royce Hall and only two seats in the second row. Prior to the general sale, they were advertising tickets in rows AA-ZZ by the fist full. Obviously they were expecting to clean up like last time but as luck would have it they didn't. Yeah! The Grove only has two tickets instead of 14 in the front row. Uber-Duber-Doo!

Hope the rest of the sales across the country are tipped in favor of the fans too.

Carol-Lynn
