No!!!! They must never part, and never work on solo albums. It should be FM album+tour, over and over, infinity!!!!

Default Well, considering how well things went with the GOS

I'm not holding my breath for a new album or solo tour. I'll believe it when I'm in the audience and Lindsey pops up on stage.
I'd rather have a sure thing right in front of me instead of what turned out to be a crushing disappointment a few years ago. I remember--right here on the Ledge--every few months, we'd be waiting for the Gift of Screws--not even a tour--and a release date was set--and we'd all be thrilled and it would come and go and we'd be crushed until the next time a rumor was heard.
And this was at a time when, I think, they had more exposure to the general public than they do now. The Dance was on every fifteen minutes between VH1 and MTV.
Us fanatics will always want more and think it will sell but their popularity was at an all-time high then and that was the time for Lindsey to capitalize on it.
IMO only, of course.
Bring on Atlantic City. I'm SO there.

Maybe they'll come back to Houston and can play the Toyota Center downtown, it's so humid and sticky to play outdoors, anyhow I'm just glad that they are sooooo together...still!

Agreed. I don't think it's going to happen and if it does, well color me surprised. The only thing is...had there been a Gift of Screws, there may have never been a SYW

The venue at the Borgata...there are two...one holds 1000 people and supposedly, the other holds 3700. Most of the seats are going to be comped so I wonder what ticketmaster will even release. I think we have another Chastain Park on our hands, IMO. At any rate, i'll see you there

Default It will be interesting...

The fan club presale threw me for a loop.
I really was just going to do ticketmaster.
Damn. Why do they do this to me???? I don't know what I'll do now. Ah, well...I have--what? 12 hours to decide? (hee--I love the notice they gave us this time)

See you there, Marissa!

I wonder how many seats the fabulous fanclub secured and if they are truly in the first 10 rows. Hopefully you'll end up with something half decent. I'm debating driving down there tomorrow morning but I really don't feel like sitting in shore traffic...

*le sigh*...

Hey Christy
I feel your pain!
I want that LB solo album and tour so bad!!!!
I love the Mac but enough already. Now they are touring the casinos of America and if they play the one in Connecticut I will just die because I really can't afford another show.

Unhappy (sob!)

Argh! I was so excited to see this new date added...until I went to PickPocketMaster's web site and saw how much they want for a decent seat. Am I the only one here who thinks $150 face value is out of control, no matter how much we adore the Mac?

Apologies for sounding so negative....I'm just sad because I'd really like to see them again with better seats, and this show would have been especially nice because it's right before my 30th birthday. I did my share of major concert-going a few years back, but that was before I got downsized and had to take a lower-paying job. Oh well, that's way more than y'all wanted to know about me! Just needed to vent.

And you know the tickets are so expensive but they are all getting up in age so you wanna see them while there is a chance. I hope they are taking better
care of themselves these days, I would love to have them around for a long time!

It's definitely out-of-control! But on the positive side, that is how much they charged for playing the Atlantic City Convention Center in May 2003. So in effect, they are doing us a favor by not accounting for inflation! ;-)

One really has to wonder where/when this tour will end. This tour is like a "river running to the sea" in the sense that it started out so strong and mighty (big arenas, sell-outs, hoopla) and is starting to peter out towards the end (half-empty sheds, casinos, canceled dates, etc.) One hopes that this mighty river doesn't turn into a little trickle when all is said and done! So if history is any indication, and the SIXTH leg of this tour picks up again in Atlantic City on September 10th, we are probably looking at more shows through the end of October at the very least, perhaps even until December (the last couple of FM tours ended in December). They wouldn't re-start the touring machine again just to play for a couple of weeks. I wonder if they are eligible for frequent-flyer miles!

I can only guess that everybody is having such a good time on this tour and everybody is in good spirits, so even if it delays the recording of solo/group albums, I think it is a wonderful thing to witness. It's not like they need any more money! Well... except maybe Lindsey. ;-)

$150 is WAY out of control but I bought tickets this morning. When you know Fleetwood Mac is playing in the vicinity of your house? You can't not go. I have a feeling they once again received some sort of guarantee to play here (which might explain the last minute addition...lack of promotion, etc.). Something tells me whoever does the books wanted to make up for the loss of the Virginia and Pittsburgh shows.

Sigh, if only it were that simple. I just wish these greedy promoters (this means you, Clear Channel! ) would realize or care how many fans they are shutting out with their exorbitant prices. I mean, for some of us, it comes down to a choice between putting food on the table and paying the car insurance or buying a concert ticket--and not all of us have, want or can get credit cards, either.

Mind you, I realize that in a world where there is so much poverty and disease and war and repression of women, I'm blessed to have a home and enough to eat and clean water and health insurance, and not being able to afford to see a concert is VERY minor in the grand scheme of things...so I don't want to complain too much, especially as a newcomer to this community. It just would've been a nice little "happy-big-3-0-to-me" treat to see them in Atlantic. But at least I can go out and buy the LIB video and enjoy that.

True, it was sort of last-minute. It would be nice if shows didn't tend to go on sale almost immediately after they are announced; it's a lot easier to save up the money little by little for a couple months than to suddenly have to come up with it all at once the next day if you want a good seat.

Ok, enough griping for one day!
