Default Boy George covers Go Your Own Way (Remixes, video)

I didn't even know this existed. I wish I could have kept it that way.

Listening to it is like poking a dead thing with a stick.

This was produced as a 2007 single. Following is a video where he performs it live, crediting Fleetwood Mac.

That hurt my feelings. Boy George is mean.

I'd love to see a camera focused on Lindsey in an audience listening to that . Michele

Oh my...

Well, I didn't like Boy George before, so this really hasn't changed anything.

what did he say there? what was mean? I couldn't make out what he was saying there, only that he mentioned Stevie and something about cocaine??

I kind of like boy george...He's a really good singer and he does some really interesting projects...

I like a few of the remixes of this...the version he did live, was ok, but I prefer some of the mixes (he also did a cover of Somebody To Love around the same time that I like better than GYOW)

Keep in mind, ain't no way this is gonna take the place of the original (or any version with FM) but it's ai'ight, dawg, in my opinion....

Just a mild attempt at a joke - the cover is really bad, imho.

0_o Wow. Where on earth do you find all these remixes anyways. I love most of them! (But this one... not so much.)

I dislike Boy George so much. Karma Kameleon is the worst song of the 80s. Awful Rosie O'Donnell brought his musical to NYC but not the GREAT GREAT GREAT Pet Shop Boys musical?!?! The only problem I have with the Pet Shop Boys is that they picked Boy George to do "The Crying Game" (his only good recording, I might add) instead of Billy Mackenzie (whose version of "The Crying Game" is, to me, definitive and devestating), thus altering the course of history toward dual tragedies: Boy George's cover of "Go Your Own Way" and Billy (my favorite singer ever) Mackenzie's suicide.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

My wife dragged me along to a Boy George concert when he came to Perth a few years ago. Oh what torture. At least I then used that as an excuse to drag her along to FM and Stevie. ;-)

Hi Chris, I see you're on too. How are you doing? It seems as though your wife doesn't like Stevie very much.

Hmm...yes you could say that...

Actually we don't agree very much on music at all. Out of my 700+ cds she maybe likes a couple of dozen of them. She doesn't like Bob Dylan, Heart, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac/Stevie, Rod Stewart, Bonnie Tyler, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger, etc. All the stuff I like.

She likes Boy George though (God help me!)

Ouch, I'm sorry. LOL, my parents pretty much agree in their music tastes. But my Dad generally prefers a little bit harder rock. I am my mom's daughter, I turned out named after her song (Rhiannon, of course!) and my twin turned out the tomboy named after my dad's favorite song. (Roxanne). Heh. I love Heart by the way.

I can quite honestly say that is the first Boy George I've ever heard. I'm going to say that I'm lucky...?
